The
Decker name has a long history in the claims field and has
become synonymous with hard work and integrity. The president
of Decker Associates, Inc., John D. Decker, is continuing
a tradition started by his grandfather who opened an independent
adjusting firm in Newark, NJ, in the early thirties. John's
father, Jack Decker, fostered his father's commitment to service
for over 45 years until his retirement in December of 1998.
The present firm currently employs eleven property adjusters
who live throughout the state of New Jersey. Our main office
is in Springfield, NJ, and our southern branch office is in
Barnegat, NJ. Our size and locations enable us to cover the
entire state of New Jersey, as well as New York City and eastern
Pennsylvania.
Decker
Associates specializes in the handling of property claims,
both commercial and personal lines. In addition to first party
losses, we routinely handle third-party property damage appraisals.
In
April of 1999, we were fortunate to add Mr. Robert F. Stumpf
to the organization as manager of the Barnegat office. Mr.
Stumpf, a second-generation independent adjuster with 35 years
of personal experience, operated his own firm for over 20
years. With Bob managing the Barnegat office and John supervising
the main office in Springfield, the company has an unparalleled
combination of technical expertise and immediate ability to
respond to claims around the clock.
